Christmas dinner buffet

On Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, we warmly welcome you at 5:00 PM for our Christmas buffet. We greet you with a glass of bubbly (also non-alcoholic). Upon arrival, you will be served a culinary starter at the table to enjoy with your company. Following this, the buffet awaits you with a variety of cold and hot dishes, and of course, to conclude, a dessert buffet. The buffet includes a drink package with unlimited house wine, draft beer, 0.0% beer, and soft drinks. The dinner buffet ends at 8:00 PM at the latest.

Christmas buffet for children

Christmas is a celebration for everyone, so we have also thought of the children! Our youngest guests can choose from various dishes from our buffet, including treats and snacks.

Rates for the Christmas buffet

Adults: €72.50 per person
Children ages 4 to 11: €33.50 per person
Children ages 0 to 3: Free*

*Please include non-paying children in the total number of reserved guests due to seating arrangements.

Our Christmas buffet can only be reserved via the website. Unfortunately, it is not possible to make a reservation for our Christmas buffet by phone or email. Even if you are not staying with us, you are very welcome!

Do you have (dietary) wishes or allergies that we should consider? We ask you to make these wishes known to us by placing a comment with your reservation. Up to one week before Christmas, you can communicate or change the wishes or allergies by phone. Thank you in advance!

Prepayment required

Note: A full prepayment is required when making a reservation for our Christmas buffet. You can cancel the numbers or the reservation free of charge until December 10, 2026.

Would you like to get away or visit family in Groningen during the Christmas season? Combine your stay at Van der Valk Hotel Groningen – Hoogkerk with a visit to our restaurant and join before (or after) an overnight stay in one of our hotel rooms in our restaurant for a festive Christmas buffet. Combine your Christmas buffet with a visit to the city of Groningen or a nice walk through the nearby nature reserve 'De Onlanden'.
