Have you already made plans for Christmas? At Van der Valk Hotel Groningen - Hoogkerk, you can let yourself be surprised by the wide choice of culinary dishes and not have to worry about shopping, preparations and setting the table. We take it all off your hands! On Monday 25 December and Tuesday 26 December, we offer you the opportunity to enjoy a delicious 4-course Christmas dinner. You can join the four-course Christmas dinner from 7.00 PM at Restaurant Groen.
À la carte Christmas dinner for children
Our little guests have also been thought of! A separate menu has been put together for the little eaters with a starter and (choice) main course. Of course, we conclude with a festive children's dessert. Unfortunately, there is no special children's entertainment this year. However, there will be a fun 3D colouring sheet for our young guests.

Reservation à la carte Christmas dinner
It is not possible to take less than 4 courses. Our Christmas brunch can only be booked via the website. Unfortunately, it is not possible to make a reservation for our Christmas brunch by phone or email. Even if you do not spend the night with us, you are welcome!
Do you have any (dietary) wishes or allergies that we should take into account? We request that you make these wishes known to us by placing a comment with your reservation. You can pass on or change your wishes or allergies by telephone at the latest one week before Christmas. Thank you in advance! Even if you do not spend the night with us, you are very welcome!
Due to the limited availability of places during the four-course dinner between 5:30 PM and 7:00 PM, it is only possible to make reservations after 7:00 PM. The times indicated by the system are decisive. We strive to meet your requests for specific seating. While we do our best, we cannot make any guarantees or promises. Your understanding is appreciated.

Payment in advance
Please note that a full deposit is required when booking our four-course dinner for adults and children aged 4-11. You can still change the numbers or cancel the reservation free of charge until 10 December 2023. No refunds will be processed after December 10, 2023.
The four-course dinner does not include refreshments and you must pay for them at the restaurant or brasserie afterwards. This also applies to children aged 0-3; you can pay for food and drinks afterwards.
Combine your Christmas dinner with an overnight stay & book the Christmas package
Combine your Christmas dinner in Groningen with an overnight stay and make use of our 'Christmas package'! This way you can celebrate Christmas optimally and after Christmas dinner you don't have to worry about returning home after a pleasant evening with friends or family. The Christmas package includes an overnight stay in our Comfort room or Deluxe room (with supplement), a 4-course Christmas dinner and you can use our extensive breakfast buffet the next morning.
