About Restaurant Groen

Restaurant Groen is located on the border between city and countryside. It is our mission to provide guests with a sustainable experience and to make extraordinary comfort accessible to everyone. Friendly service with a surprising twist, yet remaining familiar. Our restaurant in Hoogkerk symbolizes the beautiful nature in which the hotel is located. Just a stone's throw away lies the nature reserve De Onlanden. This stream valley landscape consists of small woods, hedgerows, rugged grasslands, and ditches where water violets and marsh marigolds bloom. The area is constantly evolving.

In addition to the environment, green also refers to the fresh, pure, and honest products we use in our restaurant in Groningen. We proudly carry the label of 100% climate neutral and consciously invest in the environment, to offer future generations a sustainable future. For example, we have replaced our linen napkins with 100% biodegradable bamboo napkins and only serve extra garnishes with our main courses upon request to reduce food waste.
