Breakfast at Hotel Groningen-Hoogkerk
On the first and second Easter Day (Sunday 31 March and Monday 1 April), it is unfortunately not possible for non-hotel guests to join our Live-Cooking breakfast buffet. It is also not possible to have à la carte breakfast in our brasserie. Our apologies for the inconvenience.
BREAKFAST BUFFET VAN DER VALK
A good breakfast is the best start to the day, right? We think so! In the restaurant of Van der Valk Hotel Groningen-Hoogkerk you can enjoy an extensive breakfast 7 days a week.
At our breakfast buffet you have a sufficient choice of freshly baked bread rolls, yoghurt, quark, tasty warm English dishes and fruit (salad). We offer a choice of various types of sweet and savory toppings for topping your sandwich. You can think of different types of cheese and meat products, but also sweet toppings such as strawberry jam and chocolate sprinkles should of course not be missing. In addition to a rich choice of food, we also serve drinks that are included in the breakfast buffet, such as tea, coffee, milk, buttermilk, fresh orange juice and smoothies.
LIVE COOKING BREAKFAST BUFFET
In addition to the regular items on the breakfast buffet, you can also enjoy dishes prepared live by our Live Cooking Van der Valk chefs. Of course you can indicate your order with the desired preparation method. Our chefs are also happy to think along with you! Do you fancy a fried egg or an omelette with fresh vegetables?

Our breakfast buffet is open:
Mondays to Friday from 06.00am till 10.00am
Saturdays and Sundays from 07.00am till 10.30am
Dogs are not allowed at the breakfast buffet in the restaurant, with the exception of guide/assistance dogs.

Adults: € 19.50 per person
Children aged 4 to 11: € 12.00 per child
Kids up to 3 years old: free

You can reserve a table for our breakfast buffet using the button below. To reserve a table for the breakfast buffet, we ask for a deposit to confirm the reservation.
CHEERS WITH A BUBBLE?
Do you have something to celebrate and would you like to toast with a bubble? That too is possible! You can order this from the attendant present. However, a glass of bubbly is not included in the breakfast price. On Sundays we serve our brunch buffet, which includes a welcome drink. If you also want to sleep in a little longer on Sunday, our extensive Sunday brunch is the perfect solution.

Would you like to end your overnight stay at Hotel Groningen - Hoogkerk in a romantic way and stay a while longer? Then book a room service breakfast and we will deliver your breakfast in bed. For this extra service we charge a one-off room service fee of €12.50 on top of the breakfast price per person.
