Breakfast Buffet Van der Valk

A good breakfast is the best start to the day, right? We think so! At the restaurant of Van der Valk Hotel Groningen-Hoogkerk, you can enjoy an extensive breakfast 7 days a week.

At our Live-Cooking breakfast buffet you have plenty of choice of freshly baked rolls, yogurt, quark, tasty warm English dishes and fruit(salad). For topping your roll we offer a choice of various types of sweet and savory spreads. You can think of different types of cheese and cold cuts, but also sweet toppings such as strawberry jam and sprinkles should of course not be missing.

In addition to a wide choice of food, we also serve drinks that are included with the breakfast buffet such as tea, coffee, milk, buttermilk, fresh orange juice and smoothies. Do you have something to celebrate and want to toast with a bubble? That is also possible! You can order this from the attendant present. However, a glass of bubbles is not included in the breakfast price.

Live-Cooking Breakfast Buffet

In addition to the regular items on the breakfast buffet, you can also enjoy dishes that are prepared live by our Live-Cooking Van der Valk chefs. Of course, you can indicate your order with the desired preparation method. Our chefs are also happy to think along with you! Are you in the mood for a fried egg or an omelet with fresh vegetables?

Our breakfast buffet is open on:

• Monday to Friday from 06.00 - 10.00 hrs

• Saturday & Sunday from 07.00 - 10.30 hrs

On Monday, April 27 we will serve breakfast from 07.00 to 10.30 due to King's Day.

Breakfast for Non-hotel Guests

Start your day relaxed with an extensive breakfast at Van der Valk. Even if you are not staying at our hotel, you are most welcome to enjoy our breakfast buffet.

From Monday to Friday you can reserve a table and enjoy a varied selection of fresh rolls, spreads, warm dishes, yogurt, fruit and juices. Whether you have a business appointment or want to catch up with family or friends, we provide a hospitable and well-cared-for start to your morning.

Reservation is desired so that we can offer you the best service.

Breakfast and wellness upgrade

Start your day right with an extensive breakfast and make your morning complete with our breakfast and wellness upgrade. Easily reserve your breakfast via the regular link and select the upgrade to add access to the swimming pool and wellness facilities. This way you begin your day feeling refreshed and relaxed. For just €13 extra per person, turn your breakfast into a complete experience.

Room service breakfast

Would you like to end your stay at Hotel Groningen - Hoogkerk romantically and stay in bed a little longer? Reserve a room service breakfast and we will deliver your breakfast in bed. For this extra service, we charge a one-time fee of €12.50 for room service on top of the breakfast price per person.

Breakfast A la carte

For all our non-hotel guests who do not wish to use our breakfast buffet, we also offer another option. Every day of the week, it is possible to enjoy our à la carte breakfast in Bar/Brasserie de Wit until 11:00 am. How about two croissants with ham and cheese, or a rustic healthy roll with a fresh cup of coffee? You are more than welcome. Reservation is not required, but it is preferred.
